Snow is Coming
Once again, Westmount School will be offering a downhill ski/snowboard day to Nakiska Mountain Resort on Thursday, Jan 26 for any interested student in Grades 6-9. The cost for the day is $110 per student which will include transportation by coach, your lift ticket, rentals including your helmet and a lesson from one of the Nakiska instructors. If a student already has a pass and their own equipment, the cost is reduced to be $80. This trip is entirely optional, but with that said, it requires a minimum of 40 students to make this trip cost feasible. For any additional information, students may contact Mr. Kotowich, Mr. Jones or Mrs. Watkins.
This year we will also be offering a Grade 4/5 downhill ski/snowboard trip to Calgary Olympic Park on Thursday, Feb 02. The cost for this day is $55 per student and this will include transportation, your lift ticket, rentals including your helmet and a lesson from one of the COP instructors. This trip has a maximum capacity of 50 students. Interested students should have already received their forms from either Mr. Kotowich, Mr. Keller or Mrs. Maciejewski.
For both downhill ski/snowboard trips, payment can be in the form of cash or cheque (payable to Westmount School) at this time, no online payments will be accepted.
