5H January 30, 2018

Student council shared that the Westmount Craft Fair raised $982.00, which was donated to Rowan House.  Thank you very much for your support.

On Thursday, author Michael Wade is coming to do a book talk with the students.  The series he wrote was And Then it Happened.  He will be selling his books for $5.00/book or $40.00 for the series. He will also sign the books.  If parents are interested in coming to listen to the talk it will be in the Learning Commons at 2:00pm.

Hot dog lunch will be on Friday.

Monday, February 5th is the COP Ski trip for the students who registered and paid for the trip.  Students going on the trip need to be at school by 7:30am with all of their winter gear, snacks and lunch or money to purchase food. Departure from COP is 3:00pm, return to Westmount by 4:00 - 4:20pm (depending on traffic).  The rest of the students come to school as per usual.

Question of the day:

What are the names of the instruments the meterologist use to forecast the weather?
