Christmas concert update

Today we wrote a letter to Santa as a class, and mailed it to the North Pole.  Students also had gym and music.  We have also been working on some Christmas crafts that you will be able to see when you come to the Christmas concert!

Previously, Mrs. Jones wrote a letter for one of our blogs with details about the Christmas concert.  Please note a few additional details.  Firstly,  parents and students are now all asked to come to school for 6:30pm, when the doors will open.  Students are asked to come directly to the classroom, while parents and family members may go to the gym for seats.  We will have dress rehearsals for the show on both Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.  We will be watching the Thursday performance at school. The kindergarten musical numbers will be near the end of the program.  Please plan on staying for the entire concert.  It is a musical theatre performance with a story line that follows through the entire production.

Please note that next Friday we have school, and it is Festive Day, when students and staff are encouraged to wear any and all festive winter holiday clothing: pajamas, hats, sweaters, etc.  Students who participate will win points for their colour team.

Here is a note from our principal on Westmount's backpacks to be donated to the Rowan House:
