WOW! Thank you for the great response with helping to make salt dough/playdough. We should have enough for next Wednesday now.
I feel as though I have been blogging more than 2-3 times per week lately, but WOW do we ever have a lot going on. Thank you for reading !
Tomorrow morning our class will get the chance to tour the book fair. Students will take a look and make a "wish list" of anything that interests them. They will bring this list home. If you are interested in taking a look please do so or if you are not planning to purchase this year - that is fine too, of course! :) Students could also bring money for the book fair if they choose to purchase tomorrow, Thursday, or Friday. The book fair is also open during parent-teacher interviews.
A reminder for students to dress up, if possible, for the Remembrance Day assemblies on Thursday. K-5 is at 9:00 and the next assembly is at 10:00. Grade 3 will be PERFORMING/singing at BOTH assemblies. They have been working hard in music class, feel free to come by and join one of the assemblies. They sound great!!
Please put your child's initials/name inside of mittens, touques, boots, etc. We have so many items laying around the classroom and many students do have the same items as others in our class, which has caused some mix ups. Initials/names would be very helpful in solving the "mysterious" winter gear that lies around.
If your child brought home an applications to become a School Tour Guide...Ask your child to drop if off at the office as soon as possible to Mrs. Johnston.
Thursday will be hot dog day as Friday is NO SCHOOL for students due to a PD day.
I look forward to seeing many of you this week for parent/teacher interviews. Students are welcome to join and engage in conversation around their learning!
Enjoy your day,
