Happy Monday, Families!

Today we did a subtraction quiz.  Based on the quiz, we will do subtraction groupings for the next couple of weeks!  After Daily Five, we helped our Kindy buddies at the Scholastic Book Fair.  We get to look at the book fair tomorrow.  We spent the afternoon learning, reading and watching about Remembrance Day.  We started a Visual Journal representation of one of the three questions:  Why is it important to remember?  What does freedom mean to me?  What do you think it feels like to have a family member far away, fighting in a war?  We will be writing about this topic in Daily Five for the remainder of the week.  We are finishing up a Science assessment this week, based on Natural and Human waste and what happens to those two things!  In Mrs. England's SS grouping, we will be watching a couple of videos tomorrow and answering the question:  A Day in the life of a European Immigrant!

Friday is a PD day, no school for kids!  Thursday is Hotdog day.

Remembrance Day Assembly:  9:00am (K-5).  All Scouts/Guides are asked to wear their uniforms.  People are asked to dress nicely.
