I sent home a field trip form today.  It is due back on June 5th.  We will be going on a walking field trip of Olde Town Okotoks on June 6th.  We have been studying communities present and past and we want the students to be able to see the historical buildings of Okotoks and learn what they used to be.  There is no cost.  I do need parent volunteers to walk with us and one parent volunteer who would be willing to drive and meet us with our backpacks.  If you would like to volunteer please fill in the volunteer form and send it in.  I will take the volunteers on a first come basis.

Our school community would not be what it is without

Good afternoon parents,

I wanted to send out this communication as your son or daughter might come home talking about an incident that happened on Friday. We had a classmate who told a number of students that they were on a murder list. Although the language is strong, administration worked with the student and felt that at no time were students at risk. The student has apologized and made it right with those who were affected. Please feel free to contact Ms. Swanson should you have any questions or concerns.
